41-year old landlord Taro Yamado reportedly opened fire on the first floor of an apartment building late Sunday afternoon, killing over a dozen tenants and injuring more. Witnesses claim Yamada entered the building and started kicking doors open before shooting people inside their own apartments. The suspect was said to have been wearing a strange mask at the time but was identified as the shooter by two people who were in his office before the spree began. Yamado's associates, who wish to remain anonymous, claim that Yamada had just received an antique Noh mask and put it on before grabbing his shotgun from the wall and walking out of his office.
The murderer's trail leads to the elevator, where the last two victims were gunned down. The suspects whereabouts are currently unknown, but police are following every lead. The building, which is less than two years old, now stands with most apartments vacant.
