Carnival Ends in Carnage
Suspicions That Rides Were Sabotaged by Accused Murderer Run High.
Thirteen people are left dead in what appeared to be a series of bizarre accidents at a local carnival. The carnival came into town just over a week ago, luring hundreds with the promise of family fun. However the malfunctioning of two rides on the same name are responsible for the deaths of over a dozen young people. The first deaths occurred when the Ferris wheel, famous for its height, somehow came unhooked at the base and rolled for nearly a quarter of a mile, crushing to death seven people who were riding it and one person on the ground.
Authorities had just arrived on the scene when they were informed of fatalities of yet another ride. Four people where killed when an iron rod dropped from the roof of the Tunnel of Love ride, swinging forward and penetrating the eyes and skulls of some of the riders. One of the four survivors also lost her life when she tried to escape the ride and somehow became trapped beneath the car and drowned.
Upon further investigation, the police discovered that the carnival employee in charge of both rides was actually a man who'd been indicted on several counts of murder, but was acquitted when none of the bodies of his alleged victims were found. Several engineers have been called in on the case, and the man could face charges in all of the deaths if any evidence of negligence is found.
