One of my favorite people at work passed away this weekend. We weren't really friends, but friendly, and I hoped we would become better friends in the future. He worked in the IT department. I ate lunch with him a few times in the cafeteria, and we always joked and laughed and talked about geeky stuff.

I am stunned.
