uhhuh. i'm a bit worried. suddenly it seems that i'm the only finn who's going to the jibcon2 which means that i would need to travel alone and also find a roommate. i really don't have a problem with flying alone (i flew to israel alone and went through hell with all the security stuff so these european flights are pretty easy peasy compared to

In the end it's yours to decide, but I still wanted to add my two cents.

I was alone at the convention this year. I mean, my mom traveled with me to Rome and she stayed with me at the hotel, but at the convention itself I was all by myself the entire weekend. I was afraid that it would suck ass. I didn't know anybody, had nobody to meet up with, but it went all right.

I met some people from Livejournal, and just had a good time in general. Just because you're going alone does not mean that you're not gonna enjoy yourself. You'll meet people there, and you'll get the chance to meet the boys again.

Believe me when I say that you would regret not going, so I say if you find a room mate, and you can share the costs? Don't cancel.

i think that if i'll find a roomie and then someone who can explore rome a little bit with me, i will go. this year all i saw was the airport and the hilton hotel and next year i would like to see more.

I already have a roommate, so I can't help you there. I have booked a room from Wednesday - Monday, and bought plane tickets for the same period yesterday.... so all if Thursday will be used to explore the collosseum and Roma Forum. You are welcome to join me if you are there at the same time.
