Yeah that quote is really great whoever it is... Though I did enjoy some courses like some of the science because once in a while I learned something new, but overall it seemed pretty pointless. The assignments had no use. And I don't really see how any test in high school, at least, is of any relevance. But school has always been about feeding the masses, to turn them into better statistics. I'm not saying school doesn't have any value, but for example a "diploma" only has weight in society, so it depends on why you're going to school really.

i just think that school is so unpersonal. and it doesn't achieve what it should achieve.
it builds up kids and tells them that 'this is what they need to learn' and gives the false satisfaction of grades. we shouldn't be told what we need to learn. we should be able to go after the things that interest us instead of this system constantly beating us down, shredding the little motivation we have left, telling us to get in line, do what everyone else does, feed the capitalist society, blahblablah.
