OMG!

I was going to say more about how imperious Kara is here, how I don't care for her parents at all, and how Kal's preoccupation is getting dangerous -- but the ending just stole the moment.

OMGx3! This is turning out so deliciously well. You have seriously gotten me on tenterhooks! Yay!

Selina?! Wow, I never saw that one coming, not even with the 'Kitten' remark. I was thinking along the lines of Bruce having a twin, or something, but this is an even more intriguing idea.

*grin* Selina's a Gotham girl, and I'm trying to keep most people more or less where they would have been born, so...she seemed a good choice. I haven't written her for quite a while and I do love her so...

Selina is one of my favorite women in the DCU, and I don't take the chance to write her very often, so...when I needed a Gotham girl to be friends with a young Kal, I just couldn't resist. I like them together, in an odd way. *looks forward to the Superman/Catwoman crossover DC has coming up*

I think that I should specify that there are OTHER things that I loved about this too- Selina just kinda stole the show there didn't she :D

Selina does tend to grab the chapter and run with it, lol. But I'm very glad to hear you like Kara as well! Those touches of...humane-ness, perhaps, do show through a bit,　I think.

I think maybe because that little bit of secrecy between them is something almost intimate and I like that and it's also a symbol of the fact that Kal tried to protect him from getting in trouble.

*purrs* Yes, I liked that little tiny bit of shared secrecy as well. It's a small connection, but a valid one, I think. Everything has to start somewhere. :)

When I realized Kal's childhood friend was Selina, this arc totally took off. When she demands to be in a fic, she really demands it. :) I think she stays really important in later arcs as well, althnough the next chapter is her only appearance in this arc.
