I think--but I'm not sure--that thete1 coined that phrase for all those lovely veilings and revealings of identity that are a huge part of what I love about the genre. Tim and Dick being all innocuous and cute (when in reality they're...only cute) hits me in just the right way.

Wouldn't that be awesome? Hmmm...I know "The Batman" had Bruce appear on "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" once, that was pretty good. :) But it deserves more focus. Wouldn't that be a fabulous mini-series? "We took three ordinary people and installed them to live at Wayne Manor for three months! How does that butler do it all? And why does Bruce keep disappearing, the sly fox?" :)

No, keep fangirling! Fangirling is good! Especially when you've got something like this to fangirl over. I love the tuxes. I love the snark. I love Bruce's whole 'prince on the hill' moment. I *adore* Alfred. *smooshes Batfamily* Oh yeah, I'm in happy fangirl mode, yes indeedy!

I didn't mention that moment, but I was really struck with Bruce just kind of hanging out in the nicely dappled sunlight there on the grassy wooded hill. Very pretty image. Alfred's snark is perfect too. :)

Bruce looks delicious in the cave, all grumpy and 'I know, I know, rarr!'. Alfred tying his tie! eee! and making fun of him! hehehe, wooo!

It's a well known fact that it's way more interesting to watch Superman fight than being out in a party. Besides, Superman looks awesome there... a riled up Batman sure makes everyone crazy! you can see his skin crawl with the need to do something. Delicious!

They must be...somewhere? In some canon that we haven't...run across? It's such a delicious idea and it never ever gets played with in canon! Why do Clark and Bruce get all the identity porn, Mina? They're hogging it all!

I would rather watch paint dry than go to a party like that, and I'm sure Bruce agrees with me! Watching Superman and chatting with Oracle is much superior! Although man, I love his Brucie smile there. I need more of that.

I hope they don't just skip the fight and cut to the aftermath, or have Diana or Clark show up to help out. I would really love to see how Bruce (and Tim and Dick) manage to negotiate some of this attack while stuck in tuxes...
