Alfred smiled. "Of course they would, sir."

Good point. We all disappoint our parents- it's the nature of being children. I think Bruce has a more idealized view of parents than Clark does because he lost them so young, whereas Clark had them there to butt heads with while he was growing up.

And just so you know, I love Alfred. Batwrath!

Depends on how you define "parents." :) Clark has the advantage/disadvantage of having two sets he has to live up to...though unlike Bruce, who knew his one set a little bit, Clark knew his Kryptonian parents not at all and his human parents very well...*ponders*

I adore Alfred so much and have become especially fond of the movieverse version, so I'm glad you liked him here! Since I love your Alfred your comment means a lot to me. *hugs*

I know! I just saw TDK last night and am still in awe of him; if I capture his awesomeness at all I'm happy. :)
