I love the little glimpses each gift gives in to the giver - and that bats on his bed are the gift Clark's given himself. :P (I arrived here via the little "stories" link on the side of your regular page, btw.)

*grin* This story has a convoluted history--it was originally posted in a community but I wanted to put up a copy on my own journal as well, so it came here! :) It was based originally on a piece of art (that the artist has since deleted--more convolutions!) and I had a lot of fun coming up with the little details of Clark's apartment. The bats on the pillow were the artist's idea and I loved them so much. :D

Awww, this is so sweet (heaven forgive me for calling Batman 'sweet'!). Bruce has given Clark so much, it just doesn't translate into something you can stick on the fridge (although I now want to make a macaroni Superman). But from some friends you don't need physical proofs of affection <3
