Scans: Trinity 16

Sep 18, 2008 22:39

This week's Trinity reveals that Enigma is the Antimatter Earth's Riddler...which should mean he's kind of a good guy, right?  Although Riddler is always rather gray in any universe...

The rather-creepy-kind-of-sexy mind melding continues as the Trinity fight the anti-Trinity:

Oh no, not again... )

scans, trinity

I love the last bit of the second scan, where Superman instinctively goes for the full-body catch when Batman starts to fall - cropped it would make a very nice bit of "context is for the weak". I think the mind-meld bit is only creepy because the writers are making it that way; otherwise the threesome implications would be a little too obvious to make it past the editors.

I'm pretty sure "He's hot." would be my initial reaction to Hawkman. Y'know, considering my not-so-secret wing fetish. He may be a jerk, but he's nice to look at! He is distinctly lacking in long silver hair and a long swishy coat/robe, though, so for now Abel and Sephiroth are still tied for the 'satisfies most number of fetishes' award.

The second to last panel as Clark leaps forward could totally be cropped to have it look like they're leaping into each other's arms, lol...

I find losing the boundaries of one's mind a terrifying thought, maybe because it seems so very erotic that it's disturbing. That might well be why I don't write many soul bond stories...I find them really, really intense.

Oh, the wing fetish, well...yes! There's no denying that one. You have read On Borrowed Wings, yes? Bruce borrows Hawkman's harness for sexy fun times? Soooooo hottttt... *gurgles ( ... )

*bangs head on keyboard* just realized "On Borrowed Wings" was arch_schatten, not you. Pls forgive the mistake? Not having slept more than 4 hours at a time for the last three days is making my brain rather unreliable.

Tarot, ewwww! Carter has hair on his shoulders!

I notice when Batman starts to fall, Superman's thoughts are 'Batman misjudged something?' instead of ohnoesBatmanishurt! Nice little bit of characterisation there :D

yavariel is right, it's the wings. :) Wings are hot. I'm pretty sure if Tarot spent more than a couple of minutes with him she'd be like "Can I borrow that harness and loan it to someone with a personality that doesn't make me want to hit them?"

And yes, Clark's total blank disbelief that Batman could have made a mistake was perfect, lol. "The multiverse must be unravelling indeed!"

That was a few weeks ago that they did that.

Or...or maybe I'm just sharp for once?!

No...no that can't be it. (I'm never sharp or clever.)

It was when Riddler did his lil' end of Trinity story and he's investigating "himself"?! And then Enigma looks at the screen (two places at once hints) and he's got a big question mark for a mask. And I'm all "oh. I get it."

And then I wanted to play with Riddler fic, since he did pwn the Hush-storyline.

(The whole branding bit...can be fun.)

---

Batman frowns. No...Bruce frowns. "You look like an idiot."

Kal isn't sure of what to say.

Still glowering, Batman's bothered that someone had claimed the Kryptonian first.

Oh, I knew Enigma was some version of Edward Nigma, but I thought he was the version from the Emperor Joker storyline (he called himself "Enigma" there and wore a similar outfit, so it made sense...)

I love the Riddler, and seeing him be so very kick-ass is really great. :) I want to know what exactly he's fighting for here, hmmm...

*grins at the drabble* Yeah, being marked...this title has the sexiest connotations, lol...

A Trinity though...would be problematic for connotations. Until you think of Wonder Woman. Really. She's a warrior. And Bruce and Kal are just...warriors.

Bruce would be pinning down Kal in a way to say "you are mine" and Diana would witness this and only add, "there's more ways to apply yourself to the task, Bruce. Don't be a pussy."

Kal would be wordless.

And Bruce would be annoyed, but secretly aware that she's right. He could improve his tactics. Always improve. And that, in the long run, would ensure his success...

Oh, happy place.

I've got some plans for Nigma in a Tim-fic. Now all I have to do is stop planning fic and start doing.

I agree, Diana as the full-on warrior has a lot of possibilities for being relaxed about such things. I'm not sure Kal and Bruce quite...get that, lol.

Oh, Nigma and Tim would be a great deal of fun. They'd spark off each other so nicely... I'll be looking for that one, I will...

*giggles at Bat-sidekick talk*

I loved the branding scene, too, and Clark reaching out to catch Bruce.

I did enjoy the pleasure all three were experiencing with the link. Perhaps in battle it's a good way to use this link, as three acting as one is good for fighting, though probably not in the peaceful times.

Yeah, the moment where Clark reaches out to catch him it looks like they're falling into each other's arms, yay! :)

And yes, in battle thinking as one unit would be a distinct advantage!
