Yes, some child left her Barbie doll at the entrance of the Pantheon. Its use of plastic in its manufacture must have seemed divine at that time.
Exactly. Barbie's appearance is not fitting for the goddess of war and victory. Her classical image is that of a warrior not a disproportionate model. Ah well, it was an accident and has been dealt with.
Oh boy, hahaha. Sounds like a mess. I haven't had to deal with something like that yet, thankfully. I'm surprised, though. Shouldn't we take more precautions and scan civilians for any potentially anachronistic possessions before taking them on tours? That seems like a practical thing to do.
It was but now that I look back on it, it may be a rather amusing. Oh we do take the necessary precautions, but you can never fool-proof anything and a child that wants to bring her favorite doll along can think of all sorts of ways to smuggle it on a trip.
Most people find this type of work boring, I suppose. As tiring as it gets, I love this line of work so it's worth it. You probably prefer a more active job, hm?
