Sometimes, I wish I could buy all the apartments on my floor. That way I wouldn't have to deal with neighbours.

I guess I just need to turn the music louder to continue on my assigments.

You could use earplugs or headphones, assuming that you're playing your music off speakers. Regardless, you might want to complain to the management about your neigbors if they don't stop being obnoxious.

I know how you feel. My upstairs neighbors like to... move furniture a lot... and it gets really annoying, especially when I want to sleep.
The management at my apartment isn't really helpful, though. Hopefully yours is. I'm thinking of moving out once my lease is over.

I do listen with headphones. Sometimes it just doesn't help, unless I ruin my ears. Which is a no thanks.

Noisy neighbors can be quite a nuisance when you're trying to focus. Try soundproofing the walls? It's possible to do on your own although there are some regulations in certain apartments concerning it.
