We have a diagnosis

Bella has a hyperactive thyroid. Of the possible outcomes this is the best. She'll be on meds for the rest of her life, but its easily controllable and won't impact her quality of life once she's stabilized. She is currently still at the vet and coming home tomorrow. As the nurse said, she's eating and resting comfortably. And she's ticked!.

I'm so glad it is something so easily treated. As I have the reverse condition and am also on medication forever, we now have something in common.

I'm glad it's nothing dire. As I understand it, people also get that condition and still live happily ever after, so I'm sure Bella will be fine.
