I'm glad for the soundbite and to hear how things are going.
It always come down to balance, doesn't it?

Yep, balance is necessary in a world where there are just too many things. Andrew recently realized that he's been spreading himself too thin, and while the other commitments are good and valid, maybe one needs to rank things, and not let oneself get distracted from the truly important stuff.

In my case, I'm just not as good with the world unless I'm getting the writing projects done, and have some form of martial art to pursue and inspire me. This is a skew that goes back to Grade School! (I wrote my first science fiction "novel" --about global climate change and tsunamis devastating Florida!-- when I was 7, and caused my mom despair over my constant fencing with found materials, when I wasn't practicing grappling holds and throws.) Things I need must be ranked higher in priority!
