Hot Weather

32C yesterday in the house, with all blinds drawn, ceiling fans going and 2 air conditioners running...I'm told it will be 45C tomorrow. We'll see!

Ouch! We've been promised serious freezing tomorrow, which means a layer of ice after the thaw of the recent two days... not a safe thing, either.

I hope the heat wave will pass without causing serious problems.

I've been listening in the news of the big freeze in Europe, USA, and Canada.

Sorry to hear the ice will be back, I hate ice in winter myself. The roads sometimes get icy around here in winter, we get snow once every 20 years or so, but ice is common.

45C--isn't that like 113F? That's like Baghdad weather. I don't envy you. Hope the weatherman is wrong.

It can get hotter, we've had up to 47C. It is cooler today. Marble Bar in Western Australia, the hottest place on earth gets up to 58C at this time of year..no wonder everyone live underground.

45C?!? That's...just too darned hot! That's beyond sucking. I'd rather 30 below freezing any day of the week.

It is warm, but luckily I don't mind heat. What is more worrying is the Code Red bushfire warning.
