I'm amazed that there are still countries where the politicans use their own feet to get from one place to another. Ours, I suspect use the limo even to get to the loo...

Well, where this office is, it's actually easier to walk. Had to get parking for a car near Peter's office, and the road is strange, single lane where it ought to be double. I can why he walked, even if the politicans here are also usually very lazy.

Good thing you didn't "brush him back," a phrase heard by a New York City friend, used to describe a driving technique intended to corral back onto the sidewalk overeager pedestrians who have stepped into the street before their "Walk" light is on.
