The Avengers = Big Damn Movie
(I tried to not spoil anything for those who haven't seen the movie, but read at your own risk)
Colin and I saw The Avengers yesterday and we had a rockin' great time. Given that I haven't been big on most of the superhero movies that have came out (Iron Man 1&2 being the exception) I was almost surprised that I loved the movie as much as I did.

As far as norse myth, yes Loki is definitely a sex weirdo but he's a shapeshifter giant/god thing so he can do that. Thor, on the other hand, quite traditional as most of the others.
