I did it! I went kayaking for the first time this morning! I went with my friend, Eileen. It was a 3 hour trip out a mile and up the coast a ways and back. I was so proud of myself for being able to paddle almost the entire time without stopping. I only stopped when we stopped after the mile to look at the sea lions for a couple of minutes. And

I've never seen a whale when I've been on whaling sighting tour...I wanted my money back. I saw heaps of dolphins though!

It is imprssive that you didn't flip over. I went kyakiing with my friend and he couldn't stop flipping over. He determined that kyak is eskimo for evil. I am impressed at the non-stop paddling and the distance you covered. and I must Say I am quite jelous that you have weather that allows you to do that. It snowed out here yesterday. It was flurries but still making it uncomfrotable.

How fun! I've always wanted to go kayaking. I've done canoeing and paddleboating and sailing too, but not that. Seeing all the wildlife must have been awesome!
