i just went back and reviewed the past few entries, both public and private. it was fun reading over some feelings and events - some of that stuff i had forgotten about or remembered differently. i also enjoyed reading about my predictions for the future, and seeing how differently some things have turned out. i knew livejournal was worth still

Ok, I know I'm more out of the loop than oh, anyone, but when did your sister die? If you ever need anyone to talk to, well yea - I'm here :\ I'm sorry for your loss.
Ok, not to make light of that subject, but yay for the dog! I was thinking of getting one, but now I'm not so much (if I ever update my journal, you'll know why). I'm crazy jealous though, especially because I love chocolate labs.
The first part of your entry made me laugh - I just found my old actual journals in my mom's house and was reading through some of them, their hilarious! But I'm glad I kept a "chronicle" of my life. I need to dig through LJ someday, too.
And yay for you thinking you maybe want to do something else. Not that there's anything wrong with being a band director (and I sympatheize with the pressure you must feel - I'm glad I've NEVER known what I wanted to do for that reason), but... well, the world is your oyster and all that crap. :)
