I am for any teacher or coach that stands behind their players. I'm impressed that Mike Gundy told her off in such a public manner as well. I think her "facts" are just unsubstantiated rumours, and her insinuations just vile. The Oklahoman has been a forum for yellow journalism forever, so something like this really doesn't surprise me. When you come right down to it, the player under discussion is a kid, who works hard for his team. If he's playing or not playing, well, that's between him and his coach, not between him, and some know it all reporter trying to make a name for herself by picking on a kid.
