I get to wear the sexiest gear in the knowne world

when Ugo makes it for me.

And wander around in bedsheets and wear not a lot of clothes.

Now if I can jus be able to open a gymnasium.

I can't call myself "obsessively period" because as someone commented above, I'd never leave my house if I tried. I make a really good attempt though.

The same thing happened to me though with garb... when people starting using me as an example of "what you wear for an Indian persona" my garb got better FAST.

Unfortunately, I entered the SCA as a full-blown history geek, since my college major was history (with a concentration in Medieval Europe) and I spent 5 years in a Ph.D. program for medieval art history. However, I think the need to make my garb as authentic in its construction and materials as I can just comes from my personality. Why do something if you're not going to do it obsessively with a compulsive attention to detail?
