The Mountain Goats are playing free shows around the release of Get Lonely at Amoeba Music in Hollywood and San Francisco in a couple weeks, and oh how I wish I were there. I miss Amoeba.

The passing of Aron's and Rhino (which really was never the same once they moved) really affected me. I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman; I have all this money to spend on music but nowhere to spend it. I hate that the only real game in town is Amoeba now, 'cos that place feels incredibly soul-less to me. So sad.
