trip to vancouver (a slightly delayed entry)

Paul, Ben and I went on an adventure to “The Best Place on Earth”™ a couple weeks ago. We flew into Victoria, stayed a day there, and then ferried it over to the mainland to visit all our friends and relations in Vancouver. Of which we have many. (Well, I have many. Paul has many by marriage

how come you never told you that you would be in town?

I would have loved to see you & your kids, and have them all rampage around together, but we were literally booked back to back to back, and I had to stop calling people before I made myself crazy trying to keep commitments. We were only on the mainland for 24h, after all!

Vancouver is nice, but it's always nice to leave too, I hate cities.
The aquarium, we went to a month ago and it was AWESOME, Winter was running around like she was on glue!

I had almost forgotten about those little ceramic Red Rose toys! We had tons of them when I was a kid, at my aunts and at my grandparents - British ancestry on my mom's side too.. must be a thing, or maybe just a Canadian thing? I'm not sure, my grandparents drank a lot of Red Rose tea ;) well I suppose they still do! I also loved the Vancouver Aquarium and took so many pictures, I can't wait to go back some day and it sounds like you guys had a blast too - it's such a fun place.
