I just checked my bank account.  Yay I have money but my bank took nearly $300 and paid for my ex-husbands account.  Now my name was on it but I wasn't using it nor did I give any permission for the money to be taken out

Hi jillibean--yeah, take your name off of all your ex's stuff. they can and will screw you. my aunt had a lot of hardship in getting her ex's child support, b/c the state of michigan is cool like that. they basically told her they can't arrest him and get the money from the years of child support, unless he gets pulled over for a parking ticket or something. it's like, hello! you know where he is, just get the money from him and give it to my aunt!!

Ex's can be losers...
