To hoard or not to hoard.

When walking into my parents' house this weekend, I had one of two choices. I could use the first floor door, passing a dead possum rotting on the ground, or I could take the stairs to the second floor door, providing a much nicer view of nature, but beware the huge pile of boxes covering the foyer floor at toe stubbing level. I chose Door #2 and ( Read more... )

I'm the same way. I keep everything. Moreso in the old sentimental junk sense. I keep all of my cards (birthday or otherwise), and any other kind of letter or diary or drawing. I think for me it's kind of a selfish thing. I love to look back and remember what I was thinking at the time and it's fun to think back like that. I'm not sure if it's healthy or not, but I don't forsee changing my habits about it anytime in the future heh.

I'm all about the sentimental junk. Markus once left me a note in my shoe that said, "Hello, Jill. I'm your shoe. I love feet! Keep the feet coming!" I probably would have forgotten all about it if I'd thrown it out, but I'm glad I kept it because it makes me laugh every time I read it.

Yay for sentimental stuff! I used to keep everything (including ALL those little notes we would write everyday of Jr. High...those were great, except that we would fold and write and fold and write on the whole paper...looking back, none of those conversations made any sense cause I couldn't figure out the order to read them in...) But then I went through a paranoia phase where I didn't want anything incriminating lying in my room for family to find, so I tossed everything that wasn't functional. Now, I wish I hadn't done that. There were some good memories tossed that day.

No, I can't honestly say that I hate her. I don't know Collette anymore. I probably hated her in High School, and yet I tried so hard to make her like me. From what I hear about her, she doesn't sound much better. Why do you ask?

That's an example of one of our high school notes.

How do you get from a zombie-loving snark to an extra in a Zombie movie?
Simple: jillikins to mookina to bluewitchbaby to switching-off!

Plus, switching-off goes to Rice. Hey!

Cool. Too bad Kevin Bacon hasn't been in a zombie movie yet. He'd look good with a latex neck.
