I already subscribe to NPR: story of the day, this american life, and religion. As well as PBS: Nova, religion and ethics, Frontline, and American Experience. But more than the podcasts, all of NPRs stories or on their website, so I just stream them from there.
Bill Maher kind of bugs me, but only because I don't think antagonizing people is the way to get your point heard. And Prairie Home Companion, the only part I really like is the News from Lake Woebegone, because I grew up with those stories.
I'd love to hear your other ones if you don't mind. I go through the archives of podcasts pretty fast, I don't want to run out!
Oh, and I work in a doctor's office (well, many doctors, we have like 30) and I process medical records. So its 9 hours a day in front of a computer, and we can listen to music, but I just started to listen to podcasts so that my brain wouldn't shut down doing all the monotonous things I do. :D
Sorry, I didn't realize that a few bits of that became a mess when editing it. I copied it from a post I made elsewhere and added a few bits, but LJ's text boxes seem to be a little small and I missed a few other mistakes.
I not so secretly was hoping you would respond to this post. What with you excellent taste in all things technologically more advanced than me.
Those all sound really great! My only concern is Diggnation, I don't have a door, or you know, full WALLS, so will that be, as they say SFW?
Other than that one concern, those will be great to add to the list. This week was going to bring me to the end of the pod cast archives I was catching up on that others had suggested, so that could give me another few days.
Oh, AND:
This American Life makes me cry like a child. I was listening to an old one, rebroadcast on "hearing voices" about the evacuation of Saigon. Oh man. I was a mess.

I sit at my computer for nine hours a day, so I'll definitely give these a try. Again, thank you!
Ooh! I'm excited!
