X-Files: Episode List Fave
This was my log of some of my favorite episodes of The X-Files. Of course, there are a bunch more that I really enjoyed, but didn't include. Since I've finished watching the series (but haven't seen the movies yet), I decided to open this post to the public. It was just for me so I could remember episodes I'd want to rewatch.
1.4 Conduit. Fox's case hits home. His sister would return. "I want to believe."
1.6 Shadows. The telekinetic poltergeist that protected Lauren. Reminded him of the daughter he lost. "Sometimes, I could smell his after shave."
1.12 Beyond the Sea. Scully's Dad dies.
Mulder: How are you, Dana?
Scully: Dana. Huh.
HE STROKED HER CHEEK. This episode scares the shit out of me in so many ways. This episode is so intense. I CANNOT TAKE IT. OMG. If Mulder dies, she will pull the switch herself. HOLY SHIT. Gillian Anderson can act like it's nobody's business.
Scully: I'll believe you if you'll let me talk to him.
Mulder: Scully, after all the evidence, after all you've seen, why can't you believe?"
Scully: I'm afraid. I'm afraid to believe.
1.13 Gender Bender. "Get off of her." Oh, Mulder rescuing Scully. I have deep love for that.
1.14 Lazarus. Scully held hostage!!!! SQUEE!!! "If you lay one hand on Scully, so help me God..."
1.21 Spirit Raven "Mulder, I wouldn't put myself on the line for anybody, but you."
2.1 Little Green Men."Before, I could only trust myself. Now, I can only trust you. And they've taken you away from me." "I may not have the X-Files, Scully, but I still have my work. And I still have you. And I still have myself." She fucking put her hand on his and gave it a squeeze!!!!"
2.5/2.6 Duane Barry and Ascension OMFG.
2.8 One Breath "Why her?! Why her and not me?!" "Agent Mulder, every life, everyday, is in danger. That's just life."
2.13 Irresistible Scully kidnapped AGAIN. "I'm fine, Mulder" and then she breaks down and he hugs her and tells her "it's all right." <333
3.2 Paper Clip. "I said put it down." "I said no!"
3.4 Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose. Peter Boyle. See the future.
3.11 Revelations. Stigmata. Scully believed, Mulder didn't. I wanted to slap Mulder in the head. This is the first time I actually wanted them to kiss. Right after Mulder helped put Scully's coat on at the end.
Reverend: Sometimes we must come full circle to find the truth. Why does that surprise you?
Scully: Mostly, it just makes me afraid.
Reverend: Afraid?
Scully: Afraid that God is speaking, but that no one's listening.
3.12 War of the Coprophages. I LOVE THIS EPISODE. Scully at home, talking with Mulder. IS SO JEALOUS. LIKES WHEN HE CALLS. SHE LOVES HIM.
Mulder: Scully, can I confess something to you?
Scully: Yeah, sure, okay.
3.13 Syzygy. SCULLY IS JEALOUS AS FUCK. PLEASE KISS.
Scully: Why do you always have to drive? Because you're the guy? Because you're the big macho man?
Mulder: No. I was just never sure your little feet could reach the pedals.
3.22 Quagmire. The one with Scully's dog. And the water.
4.4 Unruhe. Scully kidnapped AGAIN!!!! YAY!!!! The one with the photographs.
4.5 The Field Where I Died. Past lives. Mulder digresses into his past lives. Scully is there each time = LOVE.
4.7 Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man. The smoking man when he was young and murdering JFK and MLK Jr.
4.14 Memento Mori. Scully reveals cancer. "I'm fine, Mulder. Stop staring at me, I'm fine."
5.4 Detour. In the woods. Scully sings. Mulder hates the partner conference.
5.12 Bad Blood. Vampire story. Scully and Mulder's separate stories.
5.17 All Souls. Scully confesses she let an innocent girl die. Her battle with God, religion, and her anger over the death of Emily. Seeing Emily. Lots of crying.
5.19 Folie á Deux. "Scully, you have to believe me. Nobody else on this whole damn planet does or ever will. You're my one in five billion."
5.20 The End. Gibson - reads minds. Conversation with Scully about people caring about what other people think.
6.3 Triangle. Mulder's aboard a past boat. Scully kicks major ass. The filming of the episode is brilliant. "I would have never seen you again, but you believed me." "Hey, Scully." "Yes?" THE PAUSE OF OMG TOTALY KISS. AND THEN. "I love you." "Oh, brother."
6.4 Dreamland. HOLY SHIT. I LOVE THIS ALL. THE WHOLE CONCEPT. ALL THE "MULDER"/SCULLY MOMENTS. SHIT. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
6.6 How The Ghosts Stole Christmas. AH. HAUNTED HOUSE. SCARIEST EPISODE EVER. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. HOLY MOTHER FUCKER. THIS EPISODE. OMG. And then the end-awww.
6.10 Tithonus. Seeing those about to die. And, like, awesome. Just. Awesome.
6.18 Milagro. This is creepy. Poor Scully. And LMAO. Mulder BUSTING through the door and Scully being all pissed. And then, the END. OMG. The fucking HUG. God damn it. I love this show.
6.19 The Unnatural. Mulder and Scully and the "ice cream." OMFG SO CUTE. THE FUCKING END!!! THE BASEBALL. "HIPS BEFORE HANDS." Scully "I'm in the middle." Jesus. I fucking love this season.
6.21 Field Trip. HOLY FUCK. Okay. First, the alien. And Scully's reaction. And then after, with Scully. And the tears. Holy shit. And why is Gillian Anderson so pretty??? And Scully totally knows shit is up. DUDE. What the fuck is happening?!?! GAH. WTF. I AM SO CONFUSED. It's like life doesn't make sense anymore!!! Thank you, Scully, for making some sense. Hallucinations. These are hallucinations. "What if we're being digested right now?" DUDE. DUUUUUDE. OH GOD. THEY'RE STILL UNDER GROUND. FUCK. FUCK. FUCK. FUCK. I AM LOSING MY SHIT. OMFG. THE HANDS. FUUUUCK.
6.22 Biogenesis. "If there is a beginning, must there be an end?" OMG. "You're a liar." "Scully." "You're both liars." The camera. And the fucking phone ringing...... DUDE. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT???
7.6 The Goldberg Variation. Everything happens for a reason.
7.7 Orison. OMFG. Hair/Nail guy returned. MAJOR SCULLY FIGHT. FUCK MY SOUL.
7.10 & 7.11 Sein und Zeit & Closure. Samantha. And closure. And the song. And the beautiful.
7.12 X-Cops. Like Cops. BAH HA HA HA HA HA HA. Scully hiding from the camera. Mulder saying Fuck. AHAHAHAHAHA.
7.17 all things. OMG. I LOVE THIS EPISODE. It's all about rhythms. So awesome.
7.19 Hollywood A.D. LMAO. LMAO. LMAO.
8.19 Alone. Just for the ending Mulder/Scully fight moment.
9.11 Audrey Pauley. The hospital house. It's just cool. And I like the guest actress. And the Dogget/Reyes dynamic in this.
9.13 Improbable. This episode is so WEEEEEIIIIRRRRRD. The fucking checkers. And the fucking dancing. WTF. LOLZ.
9.15 Jump the Shark. Cried. Tears. Did NOT expect that. Fuck. Fuck my soul. Mulder WAS NOT THERE. KILLS ME.
9.16 William. Killed. AGAIN. Fucking shot of Scully crying at the crib. Fucking dead. Iz dead.
9.19 and 9.20 The Truth. Duh. Just... duh.
And on a side note, I love the way the show introduces information. Mulder asking for a refresher on something he knew, but didn't remember well. Mulder had fascination with NASA so he could explain things to Scully. It makes me happy as a writer.
