I know *exactly* what you are saying. I thought it would be easy too, to make those connections again elsewhere. But it hasn't happened here.
And I have to admit if I hadn't of left CO, I would have continued to take it all for granted. The easiness of it. Or maybe, my mind is playing tricks on me and my memory is tinted with rosiness and miles and miles of land and ocean and atmosphere. There's probably a bit of that. But like I was telling Carl, 9-5 is the 9-5 everywhere. And what I've learned is how splendid it is to have friends, good friends that remember all the yous you've been, to fill the 5:01-8:59.
