Is this in Italy? It is fabulous and is now one of the places I think we should go to next summer when we do a mini-european vacation.

Fel, that's the Cinque Terre in the Tuscany region of Italy on the Medeterranean sea. Cinque means 5 in Italian and it is 5 small towns strung together on the coast. All of them remarkably beautiful and colorful and relaxed and penultimately Italian. They are connected by a trail that you can walk pretty easily in a day. I don't think it's ever more than 1.5 hours between any of the towns, but some of them are only half an hour. You can stop and eat food, or sit on a rocky beach, or eat some more food... or if you get tired, there is a train (that was put in about 100 years ago as the milk train) that tourists and denizens of the towns can take between them
