dear ashley (thatsssssssssssssssss me) "after i eat cheese, i smell like it
the world may never kno why" <3 jillian,
well jillian the thing is... WHY DONT YOU TRY BRUSHING YOUR TEETH. WALK YOUR LITTLE ASS TO THE SINK PICK UP THE TOOTHBRUSH AND BRUSH THEM LIL EFFERS. thank you and g'night.
According to Dr. Tiger of ABC's Smelly Science, In ancient times, nomadic people carried milk in animal skins, including the stomach of cows. In that sack, a combination of enzymes (things that make chemical changes) and some of the microorganisms (bugs!) in the milk, changed its consistency from a liquid to a jelly. The milk-jelly, called the curd, is the starting material of cheese.
But what about the smells? Well, there are a huge number of cheeses. All start with a plain curd that has a mild cheese smell. But when you let different bugs loose - wow!
Different types of bugs make changes to the texture (hardness), appearance, flavour and, of course, the smell of cheese. By breaking down different chemicals in the curd, like the fat and protein, different types of bugs, including bacteria, yeasts and moulds, make new chemicals that change the aroma (hey, another word for smell!) and flavour of cheese.
So...maybe you have cheese...curds...in your...chemicals?? Well, if not, you get a free science lesson. Maybe you should see a
