Go to work. Come home. Check on the kids. Talk to Chris and Simmons. Go to sleep. Wake up. Go to work. Come home...

Oh, you must be pretty new. Couple weeks back, the town started shuffling us into new housing arrangements every two hours. A few days after that, the drones went completely insane, killing each other, themselves, trying to kill us... It was a nightmare. Wore off eventually, thank God.

Y-Yeah, I'm new, I guess... It's been a week since I got stuck here... That's really weird... they don't look that dangerous...

I don't know, but it's Mayfield. This peace can't last forever.

Good point.

Have you seen Repede, Jill? He's been missing for a really long time...

In the event these things go mad again and start rampaging about: Is there anything about them we should know? Weaknesses? Behaviors? Perhaps something to watch for before it happens?

...I can't say for sure. They seem like ordinary people, combat-wise. They go down like anyone else... but then they disappear into thin air. I'm not even sure they're human.

You're not the first to suggest they're inhuman, and considering the sort of things I've heard, I'm inclined to agree until proven otherwise.

Would it be too much to hope that this bloody town has some sort of arms shop?

I'm afraid so. I haven't seen one, anyway.
