I'm so sorry, Jilly. When someone has been sick for so long, it's hard to be shocked, but still, it's hard to accept the finality. Having gone through that myself, I totally sympathize.

My thoughts are with you and your family. *HUGS*

These things are always tough. I never knew my own grandparents, as I was born long after they had all died, so in a way I am envious of everyone who has been able to have a relationship with their parents' parents. I've often wondered what that type of family connection would be like. I'm just glad that you had the opportunity to experience it.

Know that I am thinking of you and your family at this time with love. Take care.

(((Jilly))) Sorry to hear about Grandma Rose. Like my Grandmother a month ago, it wasn't shocking news, but yeah, the finality is there. (Especially for the kids.)

Have a safe (and sane --- both parents??!) trip. :D
