Pictures of Calvin peeing on various things inspire people to a level of passion and public pride to put stickers of it on their cars...so I guess Latin's not too far off.

Sally, I took 3 years of Latin. Unless you're dying to go back and take the SATs again, don't bother.

I see people with bumper stickers (and why didn't you post this in my thread?) that amaze me that they had that level of passion. That said, I've got a minor in Latin and I still wouldn't recommend it in terms of enriching your life in any way. I mean if your vocabulary was not large enough... But I've never noticed you unable to follow a basic conversation.

Maybe Latin was his dog's name...
