Four o'clock in the f*cking morning...
Of course, the logical thing to do when you can't sleep is to write a LiveJournal entry :)
So what's going on right now... well obviously not right now because it seems only me and the birds hailing dawn are awake... but anyway. I can't sleep, why because I miss home, I miss my brother and sisters, my friends and Ben. I get insomnia easily. Lying in any position is giving me a stabbing sensation in my kneecaps. I've just realised quite how far away from home I am. I miss my guitar (sad, I know, but I do)!
What else is going on? Umm well my uni and my course are awesome, I hope everyone else can say the same about theirs. I've pretty much run out of money, impressive as I didn't think I'd make it to the end of October but still depressing when I think damn, no more piss-ups for me. All money saved for food.
Things with Ben are going really well, bless him, he's already come to stay with me twice and paid for me to go to see him, bought me a travel guitar (which I then forgot and left at his, duhee me) and he rings me every day to check I'm okay.
Hockey is still my first love. Normally playing for the 2nd XI, the 1st XI being mainly made up of 3rd years, though I did get asked to play for them on Saturday and had a really good game. I'm now out for kickboxing (what with my knees being the size of watermelons) which I guess pissed me off a little but seeing as surgery may be in the pipeline it's a comparatively minor loss!
Shock horror also, I think I'm re-finding faith; not in the "born-again" full-on Catholic way, but... I don't even know how to explain it, I just feel there's something there which I didn't feel before. (sense?)
Well I won't keep rambling, I'm going to go and try to get some sleep, and if that fails I'll just sit and watch the sun come up (or, more likely, the clouds turn from black to light grey - bloody northern weather ;) )
