I Made It!

I have an apartment - I live in San Francsico! Yay.

Today has become an officially weird day, on account of a mixup with my medication - that is, I'm 99% sure I didn't take it. Furthermore, the companion I'd chosen to accompany me to shop for the bare necessities has been struck down by a hangover ( Read more... )

Wikipedia offers "veisalgia" [the medical term] among the more specific side effects of a hangover. It's most likely up to society to invent redundant words for the same thing--I don't imagine people really care to give "cancer" too many synonyms, though, because there's no compelling reason [while after a while saying "getting drunk"/"having sex"/etc. gets boring, no matter how much you want to do it].

I feel like I should apply at Trader Joe's if ABSOLUTELY nothing else pans out--I hear they treat their employees well, which is about all I could hope for =p wouldn't be awful to go back to Target [provided the "playing one irritating CD on repeat all night, EVERY NIGHT, over the intercom" thing ever got resolved], but I feel like I'd only wanna be on price change, and I bet there's a super long line for that...

I don't know if ZipCar or City Car Share have a monthly or yearly membership, but the thing about Costco and getting a car is that you would only have to do it once a month, and get things in bulk like pasta, some drinks, toilet paper, paper towels, that sort of thing, instead of having to get that stuff all the time in small quantities at the Safeway or TJ, or Whole Foods. But on the other hand, you would probably end up going to those places often enough, just adding the Costco stuff on top can be a pain, so I think it is easier to get the car, load it up at Costco, and unload it at home, then return the car.

Anyway with regards to the streaming they do have a streaming app, but it is limited as to what is there.
