Hi. I just got stood up for a date. I later managed to get ahold of her on the phone, and she told me a transparent lie to get out of it. I'm more or less okay with it, because people are shits. I dunno if it's avoidance of guilt, or just avoidance of an awkward situation. She acted like enough of an asshat on the phone that it's probably not just sour grapes for me to say I'm better off, though it still stings. But she did not give me the impression of someone who's going to lose sleep over the matter.

Sadly there is always the possibility that she's an evil psychopathic bitch, and I would expect the possibility of that to be higher out west then here.

As a side note LJs spell check only gave me one possible option for psychopathic, most of the time I get over 15.

Well, she's both extremely pretty and, I think, keenly aware of it, so her ego may be largish. I had seen one earlier sign that she might be a snoot, but I'd hoped I was wrong. But, I honestly thought she liked me and that she was looking forward to this, so... feh.

Btw, I didn't mean to seem dismissive of your analysis. I liked the way you broke it down, and I think it may have given me a good idea for a story I'm writing.
