Wow...it looks like scam simply because of the horrible writing and grammar...it looks like a fucked up form letter. And who the hell is Thijs Vrij???

Here's a link, not directly related to your problem, but with flickr spamming/scams...I believe it's a phishing expedition. ;)

I'm gonna go with "possibly legit". Stock photo agencies have caught on to Flickr; I recently got contacted about using one of my photos. Kessels Kramer are a media company in Holland who locate stock photography, and a couple of quick searches reveal that Thijs and Vrij are a legit Dutch first name and surname (respectively).

So I'd say go for it--just be careful not to provide them with bank account details, send them money, or log in via any URLs they e-mail you. Assuming they're for real, they can send you a European International Money Order in US dollars which they get from their local bank, and you can cash it just like a check.

i think mary is right. you should look around the net for phishing scams. i got one the other day from "amazon". you do have cool photos on your flickr site though :).
