President's Day Weekend FAIL

LG has discontinued their top-rated BD390 wifi-enabled blu-ray player, and it really does seem to be sold out everywhere in meatspace and online. The 390 over its lifespan sold for $350-270. So the PS3 is right in that range. PS3 is fast-loading too, right? Does it work well with universal remotes?

Bummer. Getting the Xbox to work with our decidedly sub-Harmony remote (from the cable-company I think) was entirely straightforward.

I can't speak to anything about the Blu-ray players, but you asked about Samsung as a brand experience on the blog and we've had a good one with our Samsung TV.
