For many years I managed to do some writing almost every day, usually in the evenings. (And even so, I average two books a year.) This year I've had more mental challenges (hello, COVID) and some fairly overwhelming physical ones (underactive thyroid causing exhaustion, which is really saying something considering I'm always more tired than the average person because of fibro and stuff). If I manage to write three or four times a week for half the time I used to, I'm doing well.

It's frustrating, but I know I'm doing the best I can under the current circumstances. And that's all any of us can do.
