moving back home is such a hard transition. Just think of it this way... it's a small price to pay for free rent, free meals and free everything else. You just have to deal with it a little while... right?

I had some trouble like this with my family the first time I went home. I made it clear that if this continued they would see a lot less of me, as in I would not go back home for breaks. They straightened themselves out pretty quick.

some parents would take that as a compromise instead of a threat.

"We get to see a lot less of you? Awwww but I didn't get you anything!"
