These are being used as a decoration in the restroom at a Thai restaurant I frequent. The manager had no idea they are poisonous. I told him if I kid eats one thinking its candy, he's going to be in trouble.
OMG I guess she didn't know. Luckily you weren't stupid enough to bite into them. We collected them and played with them, but our parents told us not to put them in our mouths.
Speaking of stupid things kids do...When I was a kid, I picked up a little shell in the yard and tried to smell it. I ended up inhaling it and it got lodged up in my nose. We had to go to the doctor the next day to get it out.
