buh-bye appendix

I went to the doctor at 9:45am yesterday (Friday) because of some abdominal pain I had during the night. While the intense stomach pain went away, there was still some soreness in the groin area.

27 hours later, I am home, and this is what I look like under my pants and shirt:

They stick a tube in your belly button area? YIKES! Anything touching my belly button just gives me the dry heaves. Well, I'm exaggerating of course but it really can make me feel sick if I'm touched in that area. I hope I never have anything wrong with my appendix. I'm glad everything went well for you, especially since you didn't have to go through the writhing pain that's usually associated with that area. You're lucky.

the CT scan showed it to be swollen to 11mm. not sure how big its supposed to get before it bursts.
