By now many of you have heard through other channels, but it’s time to make it official. My husband has accepted a job in L.A. County. Today we came to terms with someone selling a house in the high desert city of Lancaster, California, and so I’m going to be moving to one of

Lancaster is okay. Its just kind of far from LA. The commute from Riverside County is closer and things are a bit more affordable. Not all Riverside is boonies these days.

I quite like Riverside, actually. Alas, since the husband's job is in Santa Clarita, it just wasn't a practical commute for him.
