I'm not one for country, but I don't mind it.

I love the slide guitar they use in it though (no clue whether its pedal steel or just a normal guitar with a glass/metal slide).

So much that I went out and bought my own slide.

And I can't play anything with it haha (except I can play what sounds like the intro to Loser by Beck, but I really don't know if I've got it right).

So I ended up losing it recently and as soon as I couldn't find it, I bought a new one, because I wanted one even though I can't play anything on it.

And that really had nothing to do with country music, but close enough. Anyways, my parents used to listen to alot of country in long car rides and such. Sometimes I'd forget my CD player and sit in the back seat gagging while Toby Keith and such was playing. Now I don't mind country, but it wouldn't really be my first choice. But I think if I was thrown into a locked room with speakers that played country music, I might be able to survive.

Awesome. I'm working on learning to play all of beck, the slide guitar part is a pain in the ass though haha.
