What a roller coaster week this has been. I can't even go into the half of it. Things I can say: Wednesday afternoon, I was told I didn't get the job I really, really, really wanted. That is surely a lot for one week. Congratulations on getting the job, though! Is it the clinic where you treated the man you wrote about? Not sure if you were doing something temporary in the meantime, but great if you were able to start the new job right away.

Sorry to hear about D's job stress and the bedbugs. Hopefully both situations will improve very soon. *hugs*

The job is at a nearby rehab hospital; I'll be working with folks recovering from strokes. The patient was at a foot-care clinic for homeless folks where I've been volunteering for the past year; hopefully I'll can stay active there once I'm being paid to be someplace else.

The other issues will resolve presently -- having an income, instead of a bottomless pit of school expenses, will help us take care of things.
