Yes, and that was so mature of you to attempt to insult her in her post describing how her life-long pet had just died that day. And then, oh-so mature of you to dedicate a post to how you tried to insult her and how she responded with contempt (duh! wouldn't you?). Anyone who would validate what you did is just as silly as you.

In my experience, even 14 year old boys aren't usually that "inmature." No excuses.

There is a huge difference between an idiotic, immature 14 year-old kid insulting something as trivial as the death of a pet and a supposedly mature, activism-oriented person in college making threats against a 14 year-old kid.

If you believe that watching your beloved animal friend die is a trivial matter, I doubt we could ever persuade each other to see eye-to-eye on this subject. The matter of her cat dying was definitely far from trivial in her mind though, which should be the point.

That "threat" didn't sound very threatening either. It basically just spelled out her contempt for this kid (or troll; hard to tell) in a succinct manner. It's not like she said she was going to beat the crap out of him or shoot him in the head or something. You couldn't say for sure whether she meant she would do him physical harm or lecture him, in the unlikely event of their meeting. And do you really think he was so bothered by her response to his shameless mockery?

I'd also be interested to know the reasons why you're defending this "idiotic, immature" boy though. Do you believe you're doing him a favor?
