Personally, I agree with him on the former, and I disagree on the latter. I'm not going to lie - to me (and my vote), the economy, the war, the environment, energy costs, and immigration are all more important than the GI Bill.
The Vietnam vets do NOT get enough credit. Especially ones like my old man, who weren't forced to go, but who volunteered.
