JBB Schedule - Round Two, aka Extended Edition
Writer sign-ups/Art sign-ups open: Late July
Writer sign-ups end: October 20
First check-in: November 10
Second check-in/summaries due: January 11
Art claims: January 18
Final drafts due/Art sign-ups end: January 20
Art drafts due: March 15
Posting begins on: March 25
A few notes:
Check-ins will close at midnight (EST) on the date listed. The check-in post will go up two days earlier and e-mails will be sent out, so you'll have plenty of time to punch your cards. The first check-in is not mandatory, but missing the second check-in will be taken as a sign that you have dropped out of the bang. If you miss the second check-in and want to continue participating in this round, you will have to send me a very nice e-mail indeed.
Final draft means that the story is complete but is still in the proof-reading/beta-reading stage. If you still have sections to write, it is not a final draft. If you are having trouble getting your draft finished, don't hesitate to drop a comment here or shoot me an e-mail (jimmybigbang@gamil.com) - the sooner I know that people are having trouble, the sooner I can help.
Art drafts are a lot more flexible than the fic drafts - send me a wip of your art, or a track listing for a mix, or a screenshot of the vidding program you may be using, or any kind of sign that art is happening. It does not have to be complete and the final product is certainly allowed to be very different to the draft, but sending me something to show that you've read the fic and are working on your contribution is mandatory.
