Daphne Allen has no idea what has happened to her husband. Dean didn't remember to inform her so she has to find out through other means. Other means comes in the form of a bitter teenage hunter by the name Claire Novak.

Jimmy is still there. Through the Purgatory souls, the claim at godhood, the Leviathans, Cas managed to protect him.

But after the leviathans escape, Cas is left amnesiac and "Emmanuel" does not know enough about himself to hold back Jimmy, who still has all his memories.

Jimmy has to work out how to live, in a body he only has intermittent control of, a woman who is not his wife but is willing to help any way she can, and little knowledge of how he (and Cas) have ended up there.

Appearances by Amelia and/or Claire (particularly Claire) are welcome. So are appearances by the Winchesters.

Aaaaawesome Plotbunny! I'm still wondering if Jimmy is somewhere in there in canon... Cas did say something like it will never end when he retook Jimmy after the brief time of being Clairestiel in season 4.

ETA: On the subject of my season 7 ideas, how does Jacob take it when he encounters the insane angel who is still wearing his twin? (Also, Jimmy is still in there with Cas.)

I personally had an idea were post 7.02 Cas goes to ask Jacob for help after losing Jimmy, but I didn't really get anywhere with that ahahaha.

Cas tries to get Jacob to be his vessel, since Jacob, being Jimmy's twin, is the right bloodline, not Claire (out of respect for Jimmy's wishes), and has the added bonus of being recognisable if and when Cas finds Sam and Dean again.

Of course, the story would have a lot about how an atheist scientist black sheep of the Novak family like Jacob would eventually come around to agree.

1. When Castiel sent the monster souls back to Purgatory, he lost Jimmy in the process. Jimmy was stuck in Purgatory, constantly on the run from it's residents... until he finds Dean Winchester there, stuck after having killed Dick Roman.

He starts helping Dean, in hopes that he can at least escape Purgatory when Dean does and maybe find a way to Heaven. Then Cas turns up. He could take Jimmy back - restore his soul back into his body as it was before - but Jimmy is still totally pissed at Cas and is not sure he wants to share a body with him again.

2. When Dean and Cas escape Purgatory, something in the process forces Cas out of Jimmy's body, and he is unable to return. Sam and Dean try to help Jimmy adjust again

5th Season

After the first time Cas was killed and came back, he felt beholden to follow up on Jimmy's request to protect Amelia and Claire, so he starts checking in on them in between jaunts of his search for God. After the first disastrous visit to Amelia he doesn't let himself be seen by her, but Claire...

Sometimes he only has time to check on her, maybe from across a street, or from the window of a building. Sometimes however he has time, and she's not busy, and she comes over to chat.

For Claire, it's not her father, she knows this, but Castiel is near enough that it is almost as good.

(Intention is almost-but-not-quite father-daughter relationship forming between them.)

omc! I have something very similar to this going on in my D/C BB story for this year! I do love writing a more profound Claire-Cas relationship. But I won't spoiler anything more...

The Jimmy and Claire issue has always fascinated me! But I must admit, this aspect of my story is hugely inspired by spn_redemption.
