Cool news!!!

The Washington State Legislature has passed its so-called "everything but marriage" bill out of the house today and it is now headed to the governor's office.  She has stated publicly that she will sign the bill into law.  The bill increases the rights and responsbilities for registered gay couples to be on par with their heterosexual

Nice! I'm happy for you and happy for the rest of us, too. Sometimes it is really embarrassing how our country still gets away with this stuff. I think it is only a matter of time, too.

I don't know if the word 'marriage' ever will be used universally for same gender couples. But the equalization of benefits is a must and it must happen sooner than later. It is the right and fair thing to do.

Now I'm not sure how to force the hand of the feds however.
